Rowley shows Greg his biography, and Greg is mad that it focuses on both him and Rowley instead of just him. Published . I could have dealt with all of Greg's meanness if he had even learned a lesson ONCE.

There were some funny moments, but I wanted a book about Rowley and this was mostly about Greg again. Opposed to the idea of cheating, Rowley suggests that they study separately, and Greg slips a mean note between the dividers. I found it interesting reading from Rowley’s perspective and what he thinks of Greg. The opening of Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid was originally published as a World Book Day 2019 title - Diary of Greg Heffley's Best Friend.

In Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid, Rowley writes about his experiences and agrees to play the role of biographer for Greg along the way. The book ends with Rowley's parents telling him he should find new friends, and Rowley responding that he can't because Greg takes up a lot of his time, but since Greg's mother says that friends get on each other's nerves, he and Greg must be "best friends" since they get on each other's nerves the most. I have no idea why Rowley likes him so much. The consensus among adults seems to be that Greg is portrayed as a jerk with no redeeming qualities. I'm glad I read it anyway.Disappointing. I prefer the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books to Diary of an Awesome Friendly Kid, but it still had the same feel. If you also likeI wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be.

Greg is a horrible person. Maybe because Rowley was in all the stories, that's why the book was pitched as his diary? This leads to Greg and Rowley making entire pages of rude drawings with "that's you" notes, and they get kicked out of the library after Rowley chases Greg. Nope. This book is written from the perspective of Rowley Jefferson, who acts as Greg's biographer.

I got so excited when I saw this in the bookstore! I’ve read all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books,so I thought I would try it out.

One of my favorite things about the other books is the subtle messages. Instead, it was a chronicle of Greg's bullying from Rowley's perspective, and Rowley does a lot of minimizing and excusing. While studying for a math test with Rowley at the library, Greg tries to make a secret code and cheat on the test. But Rowley is a poor choice for the job, and his "biography" of Greg is a hilarious mess.
