This is an awesome book and I can't more highly recommend it. Each one revolves around a subject that was identified as a key factor for a happy relationship, they have concrete exercises and questions to use with a partner and even a troubleshooting section.I find the title and subtitle a bit cheesy and a little misleading, although the content of this book is absolutely solid.

While that work was a constant stream of self-aggrandizement and conflation of his ability to predict divorce with an ability to preserve marriages, this book is far more humble, conversational, thoughtful, and engaging - perhaps because of the involvement of the three other authors (his wife, and Rachel Doug Abrams). There were many aspects that reinforced traditional gender roles and heterosexual cisgender relationships. My husband and I love this book so much! Here's a couples book that has some data behind it. It goes from page 88 to 122. I really appreciated what the book has taught me and it created a strong foundation for us — tools we can use when dealing with conflicts, ways of showing our affection and appreciation, and ideas that we found commonly interesting and adventurous. Someone who snaps their fingers at a server, may not be the person to preach conversations for a lifetime of love.
